Here's another shot for 2013! My friend Jim and I just got back from Death Valley- The trip there took quite some time from bad directions from the GPS but that didn't stop us from not adventuring on Saturday.
This shot is from Dantes View of Death Valley, California, at about 5500 feet up. We were in search of the Milky Way but the half moon blinded our view of it but painting the desert landscape of blue and speckled stars. I hope you enjoy this shot as it was shot with a new Rokinon F2.8 lens of 14 mm of 25 seconds at ISO 400.
You've got opportunity to make great photograph and you made it! This picture is awesome.
I like how you made sky. It's light blue near the ground and it becomes black at the top. Moreover I can see a lot of stars so I guess it was made late in the night yet sky is blue like it's only evening this effect is enhanced by bright blue near ground.
Next thing I like in this picture is that I can see details on the ground and stars. It's simply amazing. It shows that you've got great technique. I can't wait to see more pictures from you. I expect them to be something great.
I really like this picture. It's simple, yet effective. I also like how the stars stand out in the picture. Awesome job! I wouldn't really change anything about this picture to be honest haha. Maybe have more stars in the picture? I dunno xD
Anyways again good job! I really hope to see more pictures of the night sky with the stars popping out as much as they do in this picture. Maybe some stars in the city? Who knows.
Also what kind of camera did you use? The quality is really clear and I don't see any blurry edges which to me makes the picture even better.
